CHAPTER 162

An Act to repeal §§ 24.09 to 24.18, both inclusive, of Chapter 141 of the
Acts of Assembly of 1958, approved March 8, 1958, which chapter
provided a new charter for the city of Newport News, the sections
relating to the courts of record of the city of Newport News, com-
mencing July 1, 1960.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That §§ 24.09 to 24.13, both inclusive, of Chapter 141 of the Acts of
Assembly of 1958, approved March 38, 1958, are repealed.
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
