An Act to amend and reenact § 1 of Chapter 87, of the Acts of Assembly
of 1950, approved March 8, 1950, relating to the season when squirrels
may be lawfully taken in certain counties.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 1 of Chapter 87, of the Acts of Assembly of 1950, approved
March 3, 1950, be amended and reenacted as follows:
§ 1. It shall be lawful to hunt, capture, take and kill squirrels in the
counties of * Prince George, King and Queen, Middlesex, Gloucester and
Mathews only with the period beginning November twenty of each year
and extending through January twenty following; provided that if the
general hunting season for upland game be shortened by law or by regu-
lation then the season for hunting squirrels in the counties of * Prince
George, King and Queen, Middlesex, Gloucester and Mathews shall likewise
be shortened.
2. Anemergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
