An Act to amend and reenact § 38.1-192 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to investments of domestic insurers to authorize investments in obli-
gations of agencies or instrumentalities of the United States of
America.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 38.1-192 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted
as follows:
§ 88.1-192. Any such insurer may invest its funds in bonds, notes,
warrants and other securities which are direct obligations of the United
States of America, or any agency or instrumentality thereof, or for which
the faith and credit of the United States of America, or any agency or
instrumentality thereof, is pledged for the payment of principal and
interest.
