CHAPTER 107

An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto a section num
bered 58-792.8, relating to extension of time for completion of genera
reassessment in certain counties. rH 497

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding thereto a sectio:
numbered 58-792.3, as follows:

§ 58-792.38. Notwithstanding the provisions of § 58-792, the judge o
the circuit court of any county having a population of more than thirty-on
thousand but less than thirty-two thousand may, for good cause shown
extend the time for completing the reassessment and complying with th
provisions of such section for a period of not exceeding four months fron
the thirty-first day of December of the year of such reassessment.

2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
