CHAPTER 89
An Act to amend and reenact § 54-95 of the Code of Virginia, relating to
fees to be paid by applicants for certificates of certified public
accountants.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
” That § 54-95 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as
ollows:
§ 54-95. The Board shall ey each applicant for a certificate of
“certified public accountant” a fee of * forty dollars for the examination
and certificate provided for in this chapter, which fee shall be payable at
the time of the application. In the case of the failure on the part of any
applicant to attend the examination on the date specified by the Board, or
to pass a satisfactory examination, the applicant may appear at subsequent
examinations of the Board for reexamination, within a period of two years
from the date of the first examination, upon the payment of the further
sum of * twenty dollars.
The Board shall charge each applicant for registration as a “public
accountant” a fee of ten dollars payable at the time registration is made.
