AN ACT to prohibit the imposition of any fee or charge upon a political
party in connection with certain elections. 8 108

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. When a political party, ae defined by § 24-290.2 of the Code
of Virginia, holds an election to select the members of such party com-
mittee and such election is held at the same time and in the same places
as a primary election, no fee or charge shall be made or required of
such political party for making use of the electoral machinery. This
act shall apply whether voting is by voting machines or otherwise. The
election official of the county shall not require any greater fee of the
candidates for election to such party committee than may be required
under the Code of Virginia.
