An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered
15-555.2, permitting, under certain conditions, the taking of finger-
prints of persons charged with misdemeanors. [H 651]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
15-555.2 as follows:
§ 15-555.2. The judge of a county court may, in his discretion, on
motion of the attorney for the Commonwealth, require the duly constituted
police officers of the county to take the fingerprints of any person who has
been arrested and charged with a misdemeanor other than a misdemeanor
which is a violation of any provision of Title 46 of the Code.
