CHAPTER 33

An Act to amend Chapter 32 of the Acts of Assembly of 1956, approved
February 18, 1956, which act provided for the assessment and equali-
zation o assessments of real estate in certain cities, by adding thereto
a section numbered 8, extending the applicability of the provisions of
said act after nineteen hundred sixty to ctties to which such act is
applicable prior thereto. [H 114]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That Chapter 32 of the Acts of Assembly of 1956, approved February
18, 1956, be amended by adding thereto a section numbered 8 as follows:
8. Any city using such method of assessment prior to nineteen
hundred sixty may continue to use the same thereafter, notwithstanding
a change in the population of such city.
