Approved March 12, 1958
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. The board of supervisors of the county of Washington is hereby
authorized and empowered, notwithstanding any other provision of law to
the contrary, to transfer in fee simple by gift or by sale, or to make a long
term lease of, all or any portion of the lands, and improvements thereon,
owned by the county and known as the Washington County Poor Farm;
such transfer may only be made to a nonstock, nonprofit corporation,
hereafter organized for the purpose of constructing and operating a
camp site with improvements thereon for the use of 4-H clubs and other

of the Circuit Court of the county.
§ 2. The gift, sale or lease herein authorized and empowered to be

or assigns, of any and all right, title and interest in the aforementioned
lands, buildings and appurtenances transferred to such corporation in the
event such corporation shall, for any reason, discontinue or cease to

consent and approval of the board of supervisors of Washington County,
its successors or assigns, and the Judge of the Circuit Court of Wash-
ington County.
