CHAPTER 252
AN ACT authorizing the Governor within certain limits to dedicate or con-
vey property to or exchange property with the city of Richmond for
certain purposes.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. §1. The Governor is hereby authorized to dedicate or convey to or
exchange with the city of Richmond any portion of that property owned
by the Commonwealth located in Richmond, Virginia and having as its
boundaries the east line of Twelfth Street between Main and Bank Streets,
the south line of Bank Street between Twelfth and Governor Streets, the
east line of Governor Street, the south line of Broad Street, the west line
of the right of way of the Richmond-Petersburg Turnpike and the north
line of Main Street for the purpose of effectuating the long-range plan
provided for in Chapter 191 of the Acts of Assembly of 1948.
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
