An Act to amend and reenact § 6-185 of the Code of Virginia, relating to
corporations authorized to invest in shares of associations by eliminat-
ing credit unions from the excepting clause of said section. CH 44]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

i. That § 6-185 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as
ollows:
§ 6-185. Any corporation of this State, except a bank, trust com-
pany, * or industrial loan association, may invest in shares in any building
and loan association of this State and in shares of any federal savings and
loan association lawfully engaged in business in this State, under the
supervision of the Commission, or of corresponding federal authority.
