An Act to amend and reenact Chapter 236 of the Acts of Assembly of
1984, approved March 27, 1934, so as to make it unlawful to shoot
fish in certain waters in Scott and Russell Counties, and to make it
lawful to gig for nongame fish in certain waters in such counttes.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That Chapter 236 of the Acts of Assembly of 1934, approved March
27, 1934, be amended and reenacted as follows:
§ 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to shoot * any fish in the
waters of the Clinch River and its tributaries, in the county of Scott * and
to shoot * any fish * in the waters of Clinch River in the county of Russell,
* but it shall be lawful to gig for * any fish not classed as game fish in said
rivers in said counties of Russell and Scott in the daytime, or at night
with lights, at any time except during the * closed season as prescribed by
law; anything in any other act, to the contrary notwithstanding.
