An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a new section numbered
15-16.8, relating to the authority of the governing bodies of counttes,
cities and towns to make donations to Stonewall Jackson Memorial,
Incorporated.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a new section
numbered 15-16.3 as follows:
§ 15-16.3. The governing body of any county, city or town may
appropriate funds not in excess of one thousand dollars to Stonewall
Jackson Memorial, Incorporated, for aid in the purchase and restoration
of the Stonewall Jackson Home in Lexington, Virginia, as a perpetual
shrine to his memory. Any such appropriation may be paid out of the
general fund of such county, city or town.
