CHAPTER 675

An Act to amend and reenact Chapter 42 of the Acts of Assembly of 1947,
approved January 80, 1947, relating to fishing in certain count 696]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That Chapter 42 of the Acts of Assembly of 1947, approved January
30, 1947, be amended and reenacted as follows:

§ 1. It shall be unlawful to fish on Sunday in any of the waters of
Blackwater River or in any of the waters of Cypress Swamp that are
wholly within the county of Surry over which the Commission of Game
and Inland Fisheries has jurisdiction and authority. * Any person violating
any provision of this act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon con-
viction, shall be punished by a fine of not less than five nor more than
twenty-five dollars.

An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
