CHAPTER 669
An Act to provide for the employment of assistants to the Common-
wealth’s Attorneys in certain counties, subject to the approval of the
Compensation Board, and to provide for their compensation. [H 681]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia: . .
1. § 1. Any county adjoining three or more cities one of which has
a population in excess of two hundred and thirty thousand, may with the
approval of the Compensation Board, employ such assistant or assistants
to the Commonwealth’s Attorney as in the opinion of the governing body
of the county, may be required. The selection of such assistant or assis-
tants shall be made by the Commonwealth’s Attorney. The compensation
for such assistants shall be fixed in accordance with § 14-66.
