CHAPTER 661

An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding in Article 8 of Chapter
24 of Title 8 a section numbered 8-676.6, to provide that the provt-
sions of the said article, which relate to the State meat inspection
service, shall apply to poultry and rabbits. CH 651]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding in Article 3 of
Chapter 24 of Title 3 a section numbered 8-676.6 as follows:

§ 3-676.6. For the purposes of this article, every reference to
“slaughter house” also shall mean poultry and rabbit slaughter house,
every reference to “meat” also shall mean the meat of poultry and rabbits,
and every reference to “animals” also shall mean rabbits and poultry.
