CHAPTER 649
An Act to appropriate funds for the payment of certain pensions. sot]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. There is hereby appropriated to the Comptroller for the payment of

certain pensions to the persons set forth in Item 43 of Chapter 708 of
the Acts of Assembly of 1954, the sum of twenty-six thousand dollars to
CHS. 649, 650, 651, 652] ACTS OF ASSEMBLY 1001

be paid from the general fund of the State treasury. This appropriation
shall be used to supplement the appropriation made in Item 43 of Chapter
708 of the Acts of Assembly of 1954, the appropriation in said Item being
insufficient.

2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
