An Act to amend and reenact § 46-410 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to certain accident reports filed with the Division of Motor Vehicles
which shall be open to the inspection of certain persons, and the con-
dition under which copies thereof shall be furnished. TH 596]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 46-410 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted
as follows:

§ 46-410. But any report of an accident made pursuant to §§ 46-398
to 46-401, 46-404, 46-407 and 46-408 shall be open to the inspection of
any person involved or injured in the accident, or as a result thereof, or
his attorney; and provided, further, that the Commissioner shall upon
written request of any such person or attorney or any authorized repre-
sentative of any insurance carrier reasonably anticipating exposure to
civil liability as a consequence of the accident, furnish a copy of any such
report at the expense of such representative, person or attorney.
