CHAPTER 606

An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding thereto a section num-
bered 14-68.2, providing salary increases for city treasurers.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding thereto a section
numbered 14-68.2 as follows:

§ 14- The minimum and maximum salary brackets provided
for city treasurers by §§ 14-68 and 14-68.1 applicable to each treasurer
shall be increased by twenty per centum.

2. This act shall become effective January one, nineteen hundred fifty-
seven.
