Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding thereto a section
1umbered 46-285.1 as follows:
§ 46-285.1. All courts shall take notice of the following tables of
peed and stopping distances of motor vehicles, which shall not raise a
resumption, in actions in which inquiry thereon is pertinent to the issues:

The courts shall further take notice that said tables are the result of
xperiments made with motor vehicles, unloaded except for the driver,
quipped with four-wheel brakes, in good condition, on dry, hard, approxi-
nately level stretches of highway free from loose material.
