CHAPTER 559
An Act to authorize the Board of Trustees of the Virginia Supplemental
Retirement System to hold, invest, and expend a certain bequest; and
to direct the State Treasurer to credit the same to such Boart

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia: .
1. § 1. The Board of Trustees of the Virginia Supplemental Retire-
ment System, hereinafter referred to as Board, is authorized to receive,
hold, invest and expend a certain bequest made by Margaret L. Zincke
for the purposes set forth below, which bequest is in the amount of
eight thousand five hundred twenty dollars forty-two cents. The Board
shall invest the same as other funds administered by it are invested and
in its discretion may apply the interest thereon and the principal for the
purposes set forth in such bequest.
§ 2. Such bequest and interest shall be applied to supplement the
retirement allowances of needy retired Virginia teachers. The Board may
consult with representatives of associations of teachers in the expenditure
a anch supplement. No supplement shall be in an amount less than ten
ollars.
§ 8. The State Treasurer on July one, nineteen hundred fifty-six,
shall set such bequest aside on his books for investment and expenditure
as set forth herein. Payments from the fund shall be made in the manner
provided by law.
