CHAPTER 546

An Act to reappropriate from the public revenue to the State Board of
Education the unexpended balances of Items 184, 205 and 210 of Chap-
ter 708 of the Acts of the General Assembly, 1954. [8 871]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. There is hereby reappropriated from the general fund to the State
Board of Education the unexpended balance at the effective date of this
act in the appropriations provided by Items 184, 205 and 210, Chap 708
of the Acts of Assembly of 1954. This appropriation shall be expended by
the State Board of Education to provide for expenses incurred to July first,
nineteen hundred and fifty-six, for industrial rehabilitation and in further-
ance of elementary, secondary, collegiate and graduate education of Vir-
ginia students in public and nonsectarian private schools and institutions
of learning, including expenses incurred since November seventh, nineteen
hundred and fifty-five, for which payment has been withheld.

2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
