An Act to permit the board of supervisors of Highland County to offer
and pay bounties on sheep-killing bear. s

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. The board of supervisors of Highland County is hereby authorized to
offer and pay bounties, not in excess of fifty dollars, for the killing of bears
found killing sheep. Such bounties may be paid from the dog fund of the
county or, in the event such fund is insufficient, from general county funds,
under such conditions as shall be established by ordinance adopted by the
board of supervisors of the county.
