CHAPTER 531

An Act to prescribe the conditions under which certain property in the
county of Buckingham may be controlled by the Commonwealth or

any agency thereof.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. At such time as any agency of the State may take over and manage
that tract, piece or parcel of land lying at approximately three miles to
the south and west of Buckingham Courthouse which property is generally
known and designated as Lee Experimental Forest it shall not be lawful
for such agency, with the exception of approximately twenty-five acres
immediately surrounding the residences on such property, to post or pro-
hibit hunting on any portion of said tract which lies to the west of Horse
Pen creek and lake and a line drawn in a general northernly direction
along the main course of such creek.
