CHAPTER 51
AN ACT to amend and reenact § 29-55.1 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to certain nonresident trip fishing licenses. [H 84]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 29-55.1 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as
follows:
§ 29-55.1. There is hereby provided a trip fishing license for non-
residents of the State to fish in the creeks, bays, inlets and fresh water
streams of the State east of the Blue Ridge Mountains, or in any of the
public impounded waters of this State during the open season for game
fish. Provided, however, such license shall not entitle the owner thereof to
fish for trout in any of the trout streams nor in any waters in which
trout have been planted. The fee for such license shall be one dollar and
fifty cents, and said license shall be effective for three successive days,
which days shall be set forth on the face of the license.
The clerk or agent issuing the license provided herein shall be paid
ten cents for each license so issued.
