CHAPTER 469

An Act to amend and reenact § 15-20 of the Code of Virginia, relating to
awarding premiums for scalps of certain predators.

Be it enacted by the Generai AssembJy of Virginia:

Py That § 15-20 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as
ollows: "

§ 15-20. The board of supervisors of any county shall have power to
award, in their discretion, a premium to be paid on warrant of the board
on the county treasurer not exceeding ten dollars for each wolf scalp; not
exceeding * three dollars for each scalp of a wild cat, catamount, gray fox
or red fox; * and not exceeding fifty cents for each scalp of a chicken hawk,
crow, or owl, except a screech owl, upon production of satisfactory evidence
that the same were killed within the limits of the county and by the person
in whose behalf the same may be presented.
