An Act to amend and reenact § 1 of Chapter 242 of the Acts of Assembly
of 1954, approved March 18, 1954, relating to the jurisdiction and
control by the county of Henrico over certain-real estate, so as to
change the area of real estate included therein. CH 680]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 1 of Chapter 242 of the Acts of Assembly of 1954, approved
March 18, 1954, be amended and reenacted as follows:
_ ,§.1. The county of Henrico and its courts are hereby given exclusive
jurisdiction and control over the following described real estate owned by
said county and located in the city of Richmond, to-wit:
Beginning at the intersection of the south line of Main Street and the
west line of 21st Street, thence southwardly along the west line of 21st
Street 160.79 feet to the intersection of the west line of 21st Street with
the north line of an alley thence westwardly along the north line of the
alley 162.19 feet to a point, thence northwardly (with a deflection of
89°41'28") 50.91 feet to a point, thence eastwardly (with a deflection of
89°48'27") 25.97 feet to a point, thence northwardly (with a deflection of
90°05'10") 108.70 feet to the south line of Main Street, thence eastwardly
186.19 feet along the south line of Main Street to the point of beginning
at the southwest intersection of Main and 21st Streets.
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
