CHAPTER 413

An Act to authorize and direct the Department of Mental Hygiene and
Hospitals to convey certain real estate to the county of Henrico for
highway purposes.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

-. § 1. Subject to the approval of the Governor, in writing first ob-
tained, the Department of Mental Hygiene and Hospitals is empowered
and directed to convey to the county of Henrico by deed in form approved
by the Attorney General the following described real estate:

All that certain tract containing 8.84 acres, more or less, along
Portugee Road in the county of Henrico, shown as lying between red
lines and green lines on a plat of survey of Henrico County: public road
project 529-B dated January fifteen, nineteen hundred fifty-four, which
plat is to be recorded simultaneously with the above mentioned deed.

The land authorized to be conveyed hereby shall be used in widening
and improving said Portugee Road.

2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
