CHAPTER 35
AN ACT to amend and reenact § 46-822.1 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to unauthorized possession or use of certain supplies used in the
inspection of motor vehicles and providing penalties for violation.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 46-322.1 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted
as follows:
§ 46-322.1. No person shall remove from the custody of any person
to whom the same have been issued by or under the authority of the
Superintendent of State Police, nor have in his possession or use other-
wise than as authorized by the Superintendent for the purposes set forth
in this article, any inspection sticker or other form or paper issued by
the Superintendent in connection with the inspection of motor vehicles
authorized herein. In any case where the Superintendent shall have sus-
pended or revoked the designation or appointment of any official inspec-
tion station designated or appointed by him, such station shall surrender
possession to the Superintendent or his duly authorized representative
of all inspection stickers and other forms and papers used in connection
with inspection of motor vehicles on or before the effective date of such
revocation. Any person violating the provisions of this section shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor and punished accordingly.
