An Act to amend and reenact § 18-221 of the Code of Virginia, relating to
the breaking and opening of certain equipment used for dispensing or
storing certain petroleum products, and the punishment there, 70)

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
P. That § 18-221 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as
ollows:
§ 18-221. If any person, with intent to commit larceny therefrom,
break and open, or open, or carry away, any pump, tank, or other similar
equipment or container used for dispensing or storing kerosene, gasoline or
motor oils, he shall upon conviction be confined in the penitentiary not less
than one nor more than ten years or, in the discretion of the court or jury,
confined in jail not exceeding twelve months, and fined not exceeding five
hundred dollars.
