An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a new section numbered
§ 88-172.1 to provide for the maintenance of city line bridges lying
partly within the incorporated limits of cities and towns of more
than 8500 population.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
§ 33-172.1 as follows:

§ 33-172.1. Maintenance of city line bridges——The governing bodies
of cities and towns having more than 3500 population and the State High-
way Commissioner may enter into agreements, upon such terms and con-
ditions as may be necessary, for the maintenance of public highway bridges
lying partly within and partly without the incorporated limits of such
cities or towns.
