CHAPTER 256

An Act to amend and reenact § 54-50 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to fees charged members of the Virginia State Bar. CH 252]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

5 That § 54-50 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as
ollows:

§ 54-50. The Supreme Court of Appeals may, from time to time,
prescribe, adopt, promulgate and amend rules and regulations fixing a
schedule of fees to be paid by members of the Virginia State Bar for the
purpose of administering this article, and providing for the collection
and disbursement of such fees; but the annual fees to be paid by any
attorney at law shall not exceed the sum of * ten dollars.
