CHAPTER 233

An Act to authorize the Board of Visitors of the College of William and
Mary in Virginia to sell certain timber and to appropriate the pro-
ceeds from such sales.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia: .

1. § 1. The Board of Visitors of the College of William and Mary in
Virginia is hereby authorized to cut, sell and convey, subject to the
approval of the Governor, the timber standing and growing on the prop-
erty perm by said College in the city of Williamsburg and the adjoining
counties.

The proceeds of sale are hereby appropriated to the College of Wil-
liam and Mary in Virginia to be used for capital improvements as the
Board of Visitors, with approval of the Governor, may direct.
