CHAPTER 154

AN ACT to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered
83-317.1, so as to have the provisions of § 88-817 of the Code, as
amended by Chapter 588 of the Acts of Assembly of 1954, approved
April 6, 1954, take effect on July 1, 1956, as to advertisements and
advertisin gstructures thereafter first erected. (H 278]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
83-317.1 as follows:

§ 33-317.1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the con-
trary, the provisions of § 33-317 of the Code, as amended by Chap 588
of the Acts of Assembly of 1954, approved April 6, 1954, shall be in full
force and effect on and after July one, nineteen hundred and fifty-six, as
to advertising structures thereafter first erected.
