CHAPTER 96

An Act to regulate the use of certain firearms in hunting in certain
counties and to provide penalties for violation.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to hunt deer in the county

of Essex with a rifle.

2. Any person violating any provision of this act shall be guilty of a

pus eueanion and upon conviction thereof shall be punished as provided
y law.
