CHAPTER 92

An Act to authorize boards of visitors or trustees of State educational
institutions, with the approval of the Governor first obtained, to sell
and convey whatever interest they may have in real property that
has been or may hereafter be acquired by will or deed of gift. S188

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. The boards of visitors or trustees of all State educational insti-
tutions, with the approval of the Governor first obtained, are hereby
authorized to sell and convey whatever interest they may have in real
property that has been or may hereafter be acquired by will or deed of gift.

§ 2. The proceeds from such sales and conveyances shall be held,
used and administered in the same manner as all other gifts and bequests
are held, used and administered.
_ § 3. Nothing in this act shall be construed as authorizing or empow-
ering the sale and conveyance of such real property contrary to the terms
and conditions of the will or deed of gift.

2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
