An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered
29-37.1, to provide for the appointment of special game wardens and
to prescribe their powers and duties; to require certain bonds and
reports of such game wardens; and to provide for their sida es

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
29-37.1 as follows:
§ 29-37.1. On request of any employer owning forest lands in this
State with an acreage in excess of one thousand acres, the Commission may
appoint persons employed by him as foresters or forest technicians as
special game wardens. No such special game warden shall receive any
compensation from the State for his services as such. Any such special
game warden shall give the bond required by § 29-27 prior to acting here-
under and shall make the reports required by § 29-37. The powers and
authority of such special game warden shall not extend beyond the lands of
his employer. The Commission may require such duties of any special
game warden on such lands as are required for the enforcement of this act.
