CHAPTER 492

An Act to amend Chapter 215 of the Acts of Assembly of 1952, approved
March 7, 1952, which provided a charter for the city of South Nor-
folk, by adding a section numbered 8.30, relating to the fiscal 1e 66)

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That Chapter 215 of the Acts of Assembly of 1952, approved March 7,
1952, be amended by adding a section numbered 3.30 as follows:

§ 3.30. The fiscal year of the city government shall begin on the first
day of July and shall end on the last day of June of each calendar year, un-
less otherwise provided for by ordinance. Such fiscal year shall also con-
stitute the budget and accounting year.

2. Anemergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
