CHAPTER 446

An Act to amend and reenact § 28-196.2 of the Code of Virginia, as to
possession of oysters on crab boats.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 28-196.2 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted
as follows:

§ 28-196.2. Possession of oysters on crab boats.—It shall be unlaw-
ful for any person in charge of any boat licensed to catch crabs with a
dredge to have or allow on board any oysters in excess of * three bushels.
Any person violating any provisions of this section shall be guilty of a
misdemeanor and punished as provided by law.
