An Act to appropriate funds for the development and improvement of a
certain public park.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. Pursuant to the provisions of § 185 of the Constitution of
Virginia, permitting the State to become a party to a public park as a
work of internal improvement, there is hereby appropriated from the
general fund of the State treasury not otherwise appropriated the sum of
twenty-five thousand dollars for the year beginning July one, nineteen
hundred and fifty-four, and the additional sum of twenty-five thousand
dollars for the year beginning July one, nineteen hundred and fifty-five
to be set aside and expended for the development and improvement of
that park under the control and supervision of the Breaks Interstate Park
Commission. Expenditures from this appropriation shall be made on
vouchers signed by the Director of the Department of Conservation and
Development, or such person as may be designated by him for the purpose,
on warrants drawn on the Comptroller and paid by the State Treasurer in
accordance with law.
