An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered
46-817.1, relating to the definition of a log-trailer and to exempt it from
enspection under certain conditions.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
46-317.1 as follows:
§ 46-317.1. For the purpose of this act, a log-trailer shall be any ve-
hicle designed and used solely as an implement for hauling logs, lumber or
other forest products from the forest to the mill or loading platform. A
log-trailer as defined in this act shall be exempt from the requirements of
§ 46-317 if the operation on the highways of this state does not exceed
two miles and is made during daylight hours.
