An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered 4-84.1,
prohibiting the transfer of alcoholic beverages by certain licensees of

the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board. P

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
4-34.1 as follows:

§ 4-84.1. No person holding a retail license under § 4-25 of the Code
shall transfer any wine or beer from one licensed place of business to
another licensed place of business whether such places of business are
under the same ownership or not. This section shall not apply to a person,
firm or corporation holding a retail on-premises wine and beer license
only or a retail on-premises beer license only.
