An Act to authorize the County School Board of Fairfax County to convey
certain property to the Board of Regents of Gunston Hall. 3 ep

Be it enacted by the Genera] Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. The County School Board of Fairfax County, successors in title
to certain hereinafter described property conveyed to the Trustees of Mt.
Vernon School District, is hereby authorized and empowered to transfer
and convey, on such terms, conditions and for such consideration as may
be agreed upon, to the Board of Regents of Gunston Hall, by proper deed
or deeds, all rights, interest and title in a certain parcel of land situated
in the County of Fairfax and more fully described as follows:
Beginning at a stake on the North side of the Gunston Road and in
the line of Edmunds, thence with said line North 6914° East 23 poles 16
links to a stake; thence South 2034° East 7 poles 20 links; South 6914°
West 17 poles 10 links to edge of road; thence North 5914° West 10 poles to
the beginning; containing one (1) acre.
Being a part of the Gunston Estate conveyed by Edward Daniels,
et als, of Gunston to Trustees of Mt. Vernon School District or their suc-
cessors in office by deed dated November 25, 1882 and recorded in the
clerk’s office of the Circuit Court of Fairfax County under date of April
19, 1883 in Liber C-5, folio 62. :
§ 2. The deed or deeds of conveyance shall be approved by the
Attorney General as to the form thereof.
