CHAPTER 261

An Act to validate certain loans and advances made with the approval
of the Board of Supervisors of certain counties. H 600}

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. All temporary loans an dadvances made to the School Board
of any county with a population of more than six thousand four hundred
but less than six thousand five hundred with the approval of the Board
of Supervisors thereof for school purposes are hereby ratified, validated
and confirmed to the extent that such loans or advances could have been
made theretofore if authorized by law.

2. Anemergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
