An Act to authorize the hunting of raccoon in Essex County at any time
and to prohibit the trapping of raccoon in said county except at
certain times and to provide penalties for violations. iH '

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

fe § 1. It shall be lawful to hunt raccoon in the county of Essex at any
ime.
§ 2. It shall be unlawful to trap raccoon in the county of Essex at
any time except between January one and March fifteen.

§ 3. Any person violating any provision of this act shall be guilty
of a misdemeanor and punished accordingly.
2. An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
