An Act to amend and reenact § 46-101 of the Code of Virginia, relating
to the display of license plates issued by the Division of Motor
vehicles.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
Ha That § 46-101 of the Code of Virginia be amended and reenacted as
ollows:
§ 46-101. License plates assigned to a motor vehicle, other than a
motorcycle, trailer or semitrailer, or to persons licensed as motor vehicle
dealers or transporters of unladen vehicles, shall be attached to such
motor vehicle, one in front and the other in the rear. The license plate
assigned to a motorcycle, trailer or semitrailer shall be attached to the
rear thereof. The license plates issued to licensed motor vehicie dealers
and to persons licensed as transporters of unladen vehicles shall consist
of one plate for each set issued and shall be attached to the rear of the
vehicle to which it is assigned. License plates shall be so displayed
during the current registration year.
