CHAPTER 209

An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered
58-776.7, relating to the general reassessment of real estate in cer-
tain cities.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
58-776.7, as follows:
§ 58-776.7. The provisions of § 58-776 shall not be construed as
requiring a quadrennial general reassessment of real estate in any year
in any city of the first class which was ipvcorporated as such since
January one, nineteen hundred fifty-two, and which had a general re-
assessment of real estate in the area which was incorporated as such
city within three years prior to the year in which a quadrennial reassess-
ment would otherwise be required by § 58-776.
