An Act to authorize and empower the Board of Directors of the Virginia
Truck Experiment Station to grant and convey unto Virginia Electric
and Power Company, its successors and assigns, an easement of right
of way over, upon, and across certain property of the Commonwealth
of Virginia in Princess Anne County, Virginia.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. The Board of Directors of the Virginia Truck Experiment Sta-
tion on behalf of the Commonwealth is hereby authorized and empowered to
grant and convey unto Virginia Electric and Power Company, its suc-
cessors and assigns, an easement of right of way for the construction, oper-
ation, and maintenance of pole and tower lines, for the purpose of trans-
mitting and distributing electricity and supporting telephone wires, over,
upon, and across property of the Commonwealth of Virginia situated in
Kempsville Magisterial District, Princess Anne County, Virginia; said ease-
ment is to be conveyed in exchange for such consideration and upon such
terms and conditions as may be agreed to by the Directors of the Virginia
Truck Experiment Station and said company. The instrument so grant-
ing and conveying said easement of right of way shall be signed and
executed in such manner and form as may be authorized and directed by
the said Directors.
§ 2. The authority granted by § 1 of this act shall be exercised only
upon the approval of the Governor first obtained in writing, and the in-
strument executed in pursuance thereof shall be in form approved by the
Attorney General of Virginia.
