CHAPTER 23

An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered
17-136.1, relating to a corporation court for the city of South Norfolk.

Be it enacted by the Genera] Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia be amended by adding a section numbered
17-136.1 as follows:

§ 17-186.1. The corporation court for the city of South Norfolk
created by the General Assembly of Virginia at its regular session in 1952
is established and hereby vested with the powers and duties and juris-
diction imposed upon corporation courts by general law.

2. An emergency exists and this act is in force on and after February 1,
1953.
