An Act to authorize the State Board of Agriculture and Immigration to
convey to the city of Harrisonburg a certain strip of land. ‘H 747]

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. §1. The State Board of Agriculture and Immigration is hereby
authorized to grant and convey to the city of Harrisonburg all that
certain piece and parcel of land in the city of Harrisonburg, fronting on
the extension of Franklin Street, lying on Franklin Street N 76° 45’ E
and two hundred ninety-five feet in length and fifteen feet wide, being
part of the same property conveyed by the city of Harrisonburg to the
Commonwealth of Virginia, Board of Agriculture and Immigration, by
deed dated the twenty-second day of October, nineteen hundred forty,
and recorded in deed book one hundred eighty-one, page two hundred
seventy-eight, to which reference is hereby made for a more accurate de-
scription of the property herein authorized to be conveyed.
§ 2. Such conveyance shall be upon such terms and conditions and
consideration as may be reasonable, and shall be approved by the Governor.
An emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
